The Challenge

Despite its innovative approach, Gems Pocket faced several key hurdles in entering the market:

• A crowded and highly competitive crypto wallet space dominated by well-established players.
• User engagement and retention barriers—many wallets struggle to keep users actively transacting.
• Differentiation challenges—positioning Gems Pocket as a unique and valuable offering.
• Lack of a structured investor pitch deck to secure funding and strategic partnerships.
• A need for a compelling narrative that resonates with both gamers and DeFi users.

My Contribution as Fractional CMO

As a Fractional CMO, I worked closely with the Gems Pocket team to craft a compelling Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, refine their pitch deck, and execute a high-impact product launch. My key contributions included:

• Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy – Developed a structured approach for market entry, positioning Gems Pocket as the first gamified Web3 wallet, targeting DeFi users, gamers, and retail crypto adopters.
• Pitch Deck & Investor Narrative – Created a compelling investor pitch deck that highlighted Gems Pocket’s unique selling points, ecosystem impact, and growth strategy, leading to successful funding discussions.

Launch Strategy & Marketing Execution – Built a targeted launch roadmap, including:

• Community engagement & gamification strategies (leveraging social finance and play-to-earn mechanics).
• Partnership development with blockchain projects, gaming ecosystems, and DeFi platforms.
• Messaging & storytelling—positioning Gems Pocket as a user-centric, engaging, and rewarding Web3 wallet.
• PR & media outreach to generate awareness in the Web3, DeFi, and gaming space.
